When was your last time

Recently I read a chapter in "Extravagant Worship" by Darlene Zschech where she said,

"Even if you are part of a worship team, your most glorious moments of worship should be off the platform when you're alone with God."

This quote has added tremendous value to my 'CurryStew'.  It's keep me thinking about my worship to God in the secret, quiet place where no one else is present except me and Him.  Corporate worship is great, God calls us to it (Heb. 10:24-25) but far too often that is the only place people worship God.  I feel like God deserves more and more than that I find myself longing for me of Him outside of those awesome worship experiences on the Weekends or First Wednesday. From the story of Mary and Martha we understand more deeply that it's not only what we do for God that pleases him but that God longs for us to be in His presence.  This is where Martha went wrong, she thought that God's love for her was based out of what she did for Him whereas Mary tapped into what was most necessary...hanging out in the presence of God...without doing....just being...without saying....just listening................................

"When's the last time you hung out in the presence of God?
