Teen files harassment charges vs own mom for hijacking Facebook account

Arkansas boy is taking his mother to court over accusations she broke into hisĀ
Facebook account and wrote slanderous comments about him.
But Denise New claims she was just concerned about her boy's behavior, and the case could challenge the rights of parents to monitor their children online.
"If I'm found guilty on this it is going to be open season" on parents, New said Wednesday.
"You're within your legal rights to monitor your child and to have a conversation with your child on Facebook whether it's his account, or your account or whoever's account," she told KATV.
