After a jam packed summer I've been taking vacation, unplugging, hanging out with the fam  and I'm back in the office now so I'll be back soon. It don't get much better than that! I got some fun posts coming up and I can't wait to tell you guys about some of my new passions!!!!

I took these yesterday as the fam was hanging out. Jada's got it going on. Getting away and spending time together is essential.  Hope you have a great weekend!

Jada had fun at camp

Jada was loving her some camp!!!! Brooke is the greatest mom in the world and having her and Jada out at camp made my life so much better!  Just being able to experience camp with them blesses me more than I can express.  Helping Brooke raise Jada is destined to be some of the greatest years of my life!  I'm in and I'm ready! I love that we're involved with a church that values families, marriages, children, etc. because I want to be the best husband and father I can be.  At Granger, we believe that being a better husband/father is just as important as being better at any job/function we could perform...I LOVE that!!!!  It doesn't mean we short-change the church because we have a family, but it does mean that family comes first!!! This style of leadership makes Brooke and I want to serve more, give more, & love more!  Thanks Granger  for giving us an amazing place to raise our family and do ministry!

The greatest thing about parenting so far

I love holding Jada, listening to her grunts, watching her yawn, watching her sleep...sounds stalkerish right? Good thing she's MINE! anyway, I love all of that, but what I love the most is feeding her! That's all.

Gino doesn't know what to do

I've been getting lots of questions about how Gino is doing with Jada. Here's the skinny:  Gino is doing great with Jada, he just looks at her a lot, like he's trying to figure out what she is.  When she cries he always comes around to check things out and make sure everything's ok.  Other than that, he just sniffs and wags his tail a lot. So overall, he's not sure what to do about her, but I think he likes her!

J's First Dr.'s appointment

Had our first Dr.'s Appointment today and everything went well.

1. Jada was cute,
2. She's 7 lbs 3 oz (1 oz under her birth weight),
3. 20 and 1/2 inches
4. All "check-ups" were good.
5. She spit up on me for the first time...on a white shirt...I loved it!!!
6. She farted in front of doc. She wan't embarrassed at all.
7. She poop JUST after we got her diaper back on after being weighed naked...Phew! It was a runny and noisy one. (These are common for J. haha)
8. Julie Peterson's gift "Jada" monogram birth cloth was an excellent fashion statement.
9. God is good!
