Lunch Dance Party

One of the challenges at camp is to get the campers to mesh together as soon as possible. Some of the campers who get put into groups don't necessarily know each other.  We try our best to put them into groups where they'll have the greatest week of their life, but it's always the case that they'll be with people they don't know. Our counselors are also trying to forge new relationships early in the week at camp so we try to help them break the ice when we're all together and one of the ways we do that is by having some group fun during meals. This was the first meal that we had together at camp so as you watch the video you'll notice some students trying to figure out what's going on. By Tuesday lunchtime everyone was up out of their seat and having a great time. Everyone looks forward to it after the first few meals and it's so much fun to watch them gel as the week goes on.  I can't believe I get to do this with my life. Here's a video from Monday Lunch:
