Finally headed to Tokyo, Japan!!!!

We leave at 5 a.m. South Bend time and drive to Chicago with the team to fly out of Chicago O'Hare. The flights 13 hours but I'm not so worried about making the 13 hour flight. Just gives me some time to sleep and hang out with Brooke.
I'll be posting here on my blog more than I'll Twitter while I'm there because I won't have cell phone service there so stay tuned here if you want to follow the fun.
Thanks for all your prayers and thoughts as Brooke and I head to Tokyo for this great adventure together!
To God be ALL the glory!!!
I don't normally ask this but please leave comments if you're following throughout this trip. It'll be nice to feel the love while we're all the way in Japan!

We are so proud of all that you do for the youth here at GCC. You have given so much of yourself and now it is time for you to take time for you and Brooke. God bless you, enjoy your time in Japan and we will be following your trip and tuned in to the game!!! Go IRISH!!!!
You are so blessed to have this experience in Japan. What more can I say we love the IRISH and Lou. And you better to represent Notre Dame than you, we are all pulling for you and the team. Have FUN and be SAFE!
My wife and I have been going to GCC since the Sunday before Mother’s Day this year. We found out during service this morning about you going to Japan to play football. We just wanted to say good luck and we hope you have a lot of fun. Our prayers will be with you and we can’t wait for you to get back. Our daughter expresses the same; although she doesn’t know it yet. She is only 8 months old.
GO Irish!
