CAMP ADVENTURE 08- Tuesday & Wednesday - June Session

Wednesday:

Tuesday night I walked into a guys cabin to drop some stuff off and found 7 incoming 6th graders singing "we are the champions" at the top of their lungs because they won Bible Quiz! It was so funny. The best part was that they were DEAD SERIOUS and they were perched up on the corners of their bunks. It sounded like the Alvin and the Chipmunks version though, haha.

Wednesday:

Another good day! Every group made campfires today, in their group time, they made some hot dogs and S'mores.

I went out to the Blob for the first time this week. I usually let the students get warmed up to the Blob then I head out there an make some things happen. We got some sweet video footage that made the video for New Community! It was a good one. Hope you enjoyed it.

Papa B was awesome on Commitment Night and God was all over it! He talked about how we carry around the weight of our sin until we give our life to Christ and he takes the weight of our sin on Himself. Then he talked about the reality that when Jesus takes YOUR sins, he gives you more burdens. Saying, God will make your heart burn for the injustices and imperfections of the World. It was unlike any commitment night I have heard and I loved it.

The kids loved it!
