Amazing Staff
(Maddie and Steph Rorie after the Slip and Slide at Camp)
This is Stephanie Rorie, on the right as you look at the picture, and one of her former campers Maddie, on the left, who was a rookie counselor this year! Steph's on our Student Ministry Staff and is a phenomenal leader and friend.
This picture captures some of what makes her so great! She loves Jesus and loves students with all her heart. She always lends her ear to those who need someone to talk to and she always has the right words to speak into the lives of those she's around. She is just a stellar leader in the ministry and she's not afraid to get her hands dirty for Jesus!

Steph was one of those people that you CAN'T WAIT to offer a job to at some point. She was an amazing volunteer always going above and beyond, staying loyal to the direction of the ministry and the leaders, always looking for a way to make the ministry better...so as soon as the opportunities arose I was looking for a way to bring her on our staff team....
UMMM YEAH, WHAT A GREAT ADDITION SHE HAS BEEN! Stepping in from day one and adding value! A coach couldn't draw a play up any better than the way she executes her role on our team and in the ministry.
I've never met a person who had anything bad to say about Steph. In fact, last year when I was interviewing Steph I happened to have lunch with one of her old prof's from Bethel (no he wasn't a reference) and he said, "there's a girl that goes to your church and if I were you, I would try to hire her for your ministry." I said, "What's her name?" He said, "Stephanie Rorie, I'm not sure if you know her but she is one of the most amazing students I ever came across at Bethel."
I thought to myself...hmmm does he know I just did the second round of interviews with her? Come to find out, he was totally obvlious to that fact and didn't even know what she was up to but he knew that she was attending GCC with her husband Trace Rorie who's one of our Worship Leaders at the Church.
Here's a picture of Trace doing what he does!

I could talk about how great she is for ever but bottom line...She makes our team better and she makes me better! Thanks for all you do Steph!
